I am in the Arafura sea working on a chase boat “ MV Alex Gordon “ approximately 175 nautical miles from the Australian coast below Irian jaya. The weather is shocking 30 to 40 kts with a 3 meter swell running. So, rock and roll.

Stories from our friends, guests and volunteers.

ASU LAND CAMP UPDATE BY TASH HUMBERSTONE

2009 here we come!

I am so excited about this upcoming season on board the Indo Jiwa in Nias and the Banyak Islands! We are currently designing our Holidays with Purpose programmes for this year and there is so much to look forward to. We are planning on running home health and first aid courses for village women; organic gardening workshops; spend more time in the Orphanage ( Pondok Rahmat) in Nias as well as continue with our Coconut Kids clubs, canoe building and coconut oil production.
